Community Wellness Day
Wellbeing that meets you where you are
Hope and Healing CIC is delighted to host our Community Wellness Day this April — a welcoming, inclusive event designed to support adults aged 18 and over who may be experiencing disadvantage for social, economic, health, or life reasons.
This event is about realistic, practical wellbeing, not perfection. Whether you’re taking your first steps, returning after a difficult period, or simply looking for supportive spaces to explore healthier habits, you are welcome here.
The day will focus on nutrition, movement, and overall wellbeing, with activities designed to feel accessible, relaxed, and empowering. You can take part as much or as little as you wish.
On the day, you can expect:
Talks and workshops on nutrition, meal planning, and healthy eating
Practical cooking demonstrations and support with reading food labels
Gentle movement and activity taster sessions suitable for different abilities
A registered nurse offering basic health checks and general health conversations
Health awareness information, including bowel cancer awareness and swab testing resources
Qualified counsellors offering initial, informal consultations, with opportunities for follow-up group sessions
Opportunities to connect with local wellbeing providers, community services, and ongoing support
The aim of the event is to reduce barriers, build confidence, and help people access wellbeing support in a way that feels safe, respectful, and achievable. This is not a clinical service, but a supportive gateway into healthier routines and appropriate local support.
There is no pressure, no judgement, and no expectation to “fix” everything in one day — just space, support, and practical tools to help you move forward in a way that works for you.

Holistic Wellbeing & Relaxation
Hope & Healing CIC offers holistic wellbeing and relaxation support designed to help people pause, reset, and reconnect with their wellbeing in a gentle and supportive way. These services focus on relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing, particularly for individuals who may not usually have access to this type of support.
Our holistic wellbeing sessions are non-clinical, optional, and consent-led, and are delivered by qualified and insured practitioners. They are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but to provide a calm, supportive experience that can help reduce stress and promote a sense of balance.
Services may include short, relaxation-based sessions, such as massage or facial wellbeing sessions, alongside other holistic approaches that support rest and self-care. Sessions are designed to feel accessible and respectful, with clear boundaries and no pressure to engage beyond what feels comfortable.
We recognise that stress, overwhelm, and life pressures can have a significant impact on wellbeing. Our holistic wellbeing and relaxation support offers people time, space, and permission to slow down, supporting dignity, comfort, and emotional wellbeing.
These services may be offered as part of community events, group programmes, or through bookable sessions, and are often supported through pay-it-forward or supporter contributions to help reduce financial barriers.

Workshops & Skills for Everyday Life
Hope & Healing CIC delivers practical workshops and skill-building sessions designed to support everyday life and wellbeing. These workshops focus on real-world challenges and are built around the belief that small, achievable changes can make a meaningful difference.
Our workshops are non-clinical, inclusive, and accessible, supporting adults who may be experiencing disadvantage due to social, economic, health, or life circumstances. Sessions are welcoming and supportive, with no pressure to have prior knowledge or experience.
Workshop topics may include nutrition and healthy living, financial intelligence and budgeting, creative arts for wellbeing, environmental wellbeing, and emotional wellbeing support. Each session is designed to offer practical tools, build confidence, and support people to feel more in control of their day-to-day lives.
We focus on empowerment rather than instruction. Workshops are interactive and respectful, encouraging people to learn at their own pace and take away ideas that feel realistic and relevant to them. There is no expectation to change everything at once, and participants are free to engage as much or as little as they wish.
Our workshops may be delivered as standalone sessions, short programmes, or as part of community events, depending on local needs. Where appropriate, we also provide signposting to further support and opportunities to continue learning or connect with others.
Group Wellbeing Support
Hope & Healing CIC offers group wellbeing support designed to provide safe, supportive spaces where people can explore their wellbeing alongside others. These sessions recognise the power of shared experience and connection, and aim to reduce isolation while supporting emotional wellbeing in a gentle, accessible way.
Our group wellbeing support is non-clinical and focuses on creating a respectful, welcoming environment where people can reflect, listen, and feel heard. Sessions are facilitated by qualified professionals and are guided by clear boundaries, consent, and choice. There is no pressure to share beyond what feels comfortable.
Group sessions may explore themes such as emotional resilience, coping with stress, confidence building, and navigating everyday challenges. The emphasis is on support, understanding, and empowerment, rather than diagnosis or treatment.
We understand that many people feel uncertain about accessing traditional support services. Group wellbeing support offers a gentle stepping-stone, helping people build confidence, connect with others, and access further support where appropriate. Where additional or specialist help is needed, we prioritise clear signposting and partnership working.
Group wellbeing support may be offered as part of community events, short programmes, or ongoing sessions, depending on community needs. All sessions are designed to meet people where they are and to support wellbeing in a way that feels safe, dignified, and achievable.
Fitness & Movement
At Hope & Healing CIC, we believe movement should feel enjoyable, accessible, and motivating, not pressured or intimidating. Our movement sessions are designed to help people reconnect with physical activity in a way that feels positive, social, and achievable — regardless of fitness level or experience.
We focus on fun, music-led, and engaging activities that encourage people to move more without the fear of “getting it wrong” or needing to be fit already. Sessions are inclusive, supportive, and adaptable, with options to take part at your own pace.
Our movement activities may include:
Group rebounder (fitness trampoline) sessions
Dance-based exercise classes
Resistance and strength sessions set to music
VR fitness experiences that make movement interactive and enjoyable
Outdoor movement activities, such as walking or hiking groups, where appropriate
These sessions are not about performance or pushing limits. They are about building confidence, enjoyment, and consistency, and helping people experience movement as something that supports wellbeing rather than adds pressure.
All sessions are designed to be:
welcoming and non-judgemental
adaptable for different abilities and confidence levels
focused on enjoyment, motivation, and wellbeing
community-led and socially supportive
Whether someone is new to movement, returning after a long break, or simply looking for a fun and supportive way to be more active, our sessions offer a safe and encouraging starting point.
Community Events
Hope & Healing CIC delivers inclusive, welcoming community events designed to make wellbeing support accessible, approachable, and relevant to everyday life. Our events create safe spaces where adults can explore wellbeing without pressure, judgement, or expectation, and engage in ways that feel right for them.
Our community events bring together nutrition, movement, and wellbeing in practical and engaging ways. They may include wellbeing workshops, movement taster sessions, holistic wellbeing activities, health awareness information, and opportunities to connect with local services, practitioners, and community organisations.
These events are designed to act as gentle entry points into wellbeing. They support people who may feel excluded from traditional health or wellness spaces, offering opportunities to try new activities, ask questions, and build confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.
We believe connection is central to wellbeing. Our events encourage community connection, reduce isolation, and help people discover ongoing support available within their local area. Where appropriate, we provide clear signposting to further services and follow-on sessions.
All Hope & Healing CIC community events are non-clinical, inclusive, and centred on dignity, choice, and empowerment. People are free to take part as much or as little as they wish, with no pressure to commit beyond what feels comfortable.
Community Connection & Signposting
Hope & Healing CIC recognises that wellbeing is not just about individual support, but about connection, belonging, and knowing where to turn for help. Our Community Connection and Signposting service exists to help people feel less alone and more confident navigating the support available to them.
Many people experience barriers when trying to access services, whether due to lack of information, confidence, past experiences, or feeling overwhelmed. We provide supportive, non-judgemental guidance to help individuals understand what support is available locally and how to access it in a way that feels manageable.
Our role is not to replace existing services, but to act as a bridge. Through conversations, events, workshops, and wellbeing check-ins, we help people connect with community groups, wellbeing activities, voluntary organisations, and appropriate specialist services when needed.
Community connection is central to everything we do. We create welcoming spaces where people can meet others, build confidence, and develop supportive relationships at their own pace. This may happen through group activities, shared learning, or informal conversations that help people feel seen and supported.
All community connection and signposting support is non-clinical, consent-led, and focused on empowerment. Individuals are always in control of their choices, and support is offered without pressure or expectation. Our aim is to help people feel informed, supported, and confident taking the next step that feels right for them.
Our company ethos
Hope & Healing CIC is rooted in the belief that wellbeing should be accessible, inclusive, and grounded in real life. We exist to support adults aged 18 and over who may be experiencing disadvantage due to social, economic, health, or life circumstances, by offering practical, non-clinical wellbeing support that feels welcoming and achievable.
We believe that wellbeing should meet people where they are, not where systems expect them to be. People engage with support at different stages and in different ways, and there should be no pressure to be “ready” or to change everything at once. Whether someone is taking their first step, returning after a difficult period, or simply looking for a supportive space, they are welcome.
Our approach focuses on empowerment over pressure, dignity over judgement, and connection over isolation. We do not aim to fix, diagnose, or label. Instead, we create safe, respectful spaces where people can explore nutrition, movement, and holistic wellbeing in ways that feel realistic and relevant to their everyday lives.
Hope & Healing CIC provides non-clinical wellbeing opportunities that complement existing services rather than replace them. Where additional or specialist support is needed, we prioritise clear signposting and partnership working to ensure people can access the right help at the right time.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to choice, compassion, and community. We believe small, supported steps can lead to meaningful change, and that wellbeing is strengthened when people feel seen, supported, and connected.
